Day 7 - An unhappy local

After yesterdays photo bringing up some unpleasant sentiment with a few of the locals, I was approached by this shadowy figure while chasing todays shot. While she didn't have much to say, I felt a great unease as she stood there, just staring straight thru me. I explained that meant no malice by bringing up the history that had been long forgotten and that tomorrow I would make it right...

Awww, she's beautiful. Love that halo from the gorgeous sunset and great colours. Great silhouettes are always so very evocative. Nice work!

Fabulous photo. Like in Day 2's photo, you've done a wonderful job of creating a silhouette with amazing fine detail! Heck, you could make a whole 30 days of these wonderful silhouettes. :)

What an awesome silloutte, the position of the sun in the background works so well. You have captured a great selection of images in your first week. Keep them coming.

A lovely shot and an interesting narrative to go with it :-)

I've never seen the sun like that before, with a blue halo... Fantastic silhouette with rim lighting. She does seem like a looming figure, and she looks huge!

To bizarre, I thought you had caught the tail end, going into the sun...completely surrounded by the wonderful sun

WOW, what a great silhouette.
Just perfect and the angle is spot on as well.

LOVE IT! My favourite so far. Brilliant silhouette, and the rim lighting is gorgeous, topped off with the lovely warm colours and the angle. Beautiful stuff.

I love the deep silhouette of the head combined with the details in the tail.
